Install
npx -y @claudinho/mcpWho it is for
This guide is for people who want 2026 men's football fixtures and scores in the conversation, and do not want to apply for any API key. The official main path is to start @claudinho/mcp with npx and write it into mcpServers. It also shows up in Claude Code / Cursor terminal and statusline scenes, but the first connection follows the MCP config. Do not treat a global CLI install as another preferred install at the same time.
It fits people who first check today's fixtures, then look at live scores, the next match, the standings, or the bracket as needed. Officially all 9 tools are read-only. It is not suitable to treat this as an official FIFA or Anthropic product: the repository states Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA or Anthropic.
First try in 3 minutes
The official MCP install command is below. Prerequisite: this machine can run npx; no API key and no signup. Config location is the client's mcpServers.claudinho: command is npx, args are -y and @claudinho/mcp.
npx -y @claudinho/mcp

First try: use the official tool get_today to query today's fixtures. Success signal: today's matches come back. get_today can work offline when it uses the schedule that ships with the package; officially bundled data / all 104 fixtures ship bundled. Do not read read-only as zero risk: if you then call get_live, live scores go out to the network.
Use cases
Case 1: Look at fixtures and the next match. That maps to get_today and get_next_fixture. The evidence only gives the tool names and does not give extra filter parameters; use only as far as the client shows. On success you can see fixture or next-match information.
Case 2: Look at live scores or standings. That maps to get_live, plus get_standings / get_bracket / get_match / get_team. get_live goes out to the network. Success signal: scores, standings, bracket, or team information come back. The evidence also names get_market_signal and get_share_snippet, but does not explain return fields; do not invent meanings. There are also my_team / tournament_today prompts; likewise follow what the client shows.
Limits
Bundled fixtures, group-stage, and knockout structure can be used offline; anything live hits the network: scores. Do not claim the whole path is offline. Tools are read-only, but they may still read local config and go online when querying live scores. The evidence does not give data delay, coverage-change, or undo steps. On the CLI side there is also npm i -g @claudinho/cli and claudinho init cursor; that is statusline assistance, not this MCP main path. It is an independent fan project with no official relationship to FIFA or Anthropic.
