AgentConnect
An open-source, self-hosted team agent platform that runs any ACP-compatible agent across channels such as Slack.
About AgentConnect
AgentConnect is an open-source, self-hostable team agent platform under the Apache-2.0 license that can be deployed on your own infrastructure. It runs any ACP-compatible agent and connects Slack, Discord, Telegram, and GitHub so teams can share agents in shared channels; it supports multi-machine deployment, isolates use cases, and controls agent, tool, and skill visibility by member. ACP runtimes such as Claude Code and Codex can run in parallel, with a runtime and model selected for each agent; agent processes run on self-managed daemons, model calls use your own subscription or API key to reach providers directly, and agents can work across more than 1,000 applications.
Best for
Best use cases
Share agents with a team in Slack, Discord, Telegram, and GitHub
Run agents for different use cases in isolation across multiple machines
Run runtimes such as Claude Code and Codex in parallel and choose models for different agents
Let agents handle everyday tasks across more than 1,000 applications
Compare before choosing
The official comparison page says Claude Tag is Claude running on Anthropic infrastructure inside Slack; AgentConnect is an open-source, self-hostable stack that runs any ACP-compatible agent in Slack, Discord, Telegram, and GitHub.
The official comparison page says OpenClaw is a personal assistant with one person, one machine, and one instance; AgentConnect is built for teams, running agents across multiple machines to isolate use cases, controlling member visibility of agents, tools, and skills, and letting teams share the same agents in shared channels.
Features
Multi-channel access
Run and share agents across Slack, Discord, Telegram, and GitHub so teams can collaborate in shared channels.
Any ACP runtime
Run ACP runtimes such as Claude Code and Codex in parallel, choose a runtime and model per agent, and connect new runtimes when released.
Team multi-machine access and permissions
Distribute agents across multiple machines to isolate use cases, and control which agents, tools, and skills each member can see.
Cross-application execution
Let agents complete tasks across more than 1,000 applications.
Pros
- Open source and self-hostable, with deployment and operation on your own infrastructure
- ACP-compatible: runtimes such as Claude Code and Codex can run in parallel, and new runtimes are plug-and-play
- Uses your own model subscription or API key; the vendor says model traffic is not proxied and usage is not marked up
- Agent processes stay on machines you control; the control plane stores only configuration and metadata, not message bodies, transcripts, or code
Cons
- As an open-source self-hosted solution, it requires you to deploy and operate the infrastructure and agent daemons
