Backbeat Forge
Convert audio to editable staff drum notation and export PDF and MIDI
About Backbeat Forge
Backbeat Forge is a local drum-notation workstation that converts full mixes or isolated drum tracks into readable, editable staff notation, with PDF and General MIDI export. Full mixes can use local HTDemucs for drum separation; during editing, move hit timing or drum-piece placement, adjust velocity and techniques, add missing hits, and remove false detections. PDF export supports printable A4 notation with bars, time signatures, tempo, techniques, and pagination. Models and runtime can run locally on Windows or Linux; decoding, separation, detection, and project saving require no cloud upload.
