About Chute
Chute lets you drag files, links, selected text, or screenshot thumbnails from your Mac into the gap portal, sending them directly to your own iPhone via AirDrop. While dragging, the Mac's gap becomes a transfer entrance to the iPhone and expands the drop area as you approach. The official site also says the app supports checking for updates; release notes record handling for canceled, declined, or failed transfers.
