FreqWave EQ
An eight-band parametric equalizer in the browser, with voice enhancement, real-time spectrum visualization, and fully local audio processing.
About FreqWave EQ
FreqWave EQ is an audio equalizer extension that runs in the browser, providing sound adjustment for podcasts, films, and online videos. It offers an eight-band parametric EQ from 32 Hz to 8 kHz, with fine adjustment of ±12 dB per band and a flat curve by default, so you only adjust the bands you need. Voice enhancement includes four presets, including Dialogue, Leveler, and Clarity; Leveler includes a dynamic compressor (DSP). The interface includes real-time visualizations. All audio processing is completed locally in the browser through Web Audio API, and audio data never leaves the device. The EQ curve, knob positions, and voice-enhancement mode are saved automatically and remain unchanged when the extension is reopened. Tab capture runs in a separate offscreen document, does not touch the page DOM, and does not slow down the host website.
