Google Antigravity
An agentic development platform for coordinating parallel coding agents across an editor, CLI, SDK, browser workflows, and Google Cloud environments.
About Google Antigravity
Google Antigravity is an agentic development platform for coordinating software work across an editor, a terminal-first CLI, and an SDK for custom agents. Antigravity 2.0 is a command center where developers can group conversations into projects, operate across multiple workspaces, run background agents in parallel, and schedule routine tasks. Agents can handle research, implementation, testing, codebase investigation, and backlog work while reporting through task-level artifacts and verification outcomes. The platform supports browser-in-the-loop iteration for frontend work and includes settings that control automatic terminal command execution and access to files outside the active workspace. Individual users can start at $0 per month with model access, unlimited Tab completions, unlimited command requests, and basic weekly rate limits. Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra increase quota or rate-limit access. Enterprise teams can connect Antigravity 2.0 and the CLI to models hosted in their own Google Cloud project, but this enterprise integration does not support the Antigravity IDE.
Best for
Best use cases
Coordinate codebase research, implementation, testing, and backlog tasks across multiple workspaces
Iterate on frontend changes with browser feedback and task-level verification artifacts
Prototype custom agents and software-engineering evaluations through Python and the Antigravity SDK
Compare before choosing
Individual offers a $0 entry point but uses basic weekly rate limits
Google AI Pro adds more generous rate limits and a flexible AI credit pool
Google AI Ultra provides the highest quota and weekly rate limits plus third-party model access
Features
Parallel agent coordination
Run background agents across multiple workspaces for research, implementation, testing, backlog work, and scheduled routine tasks.
Browser-guided frontend work
Use browser-in-the-loop iteration and visual feedback while agents work on responsive frontend implementation.
Custom agent SDK
Use Python scripts to prototype agentic applications, automate software-engineering tasks, and run evaluations on the Antigravity agent harness.
Pros
- The $0 Individual plan lowers the cost of testing agent-based development workflows.
- Parallel background agents and multiple workspaces can reduce context switching on long-running development work.
- Command review settings and default workspace-only file access provide practical controls over agent actions.
Cons
- The Individual plan is subject to basic weekly rate limits, which can constrain frequent agent use.
- Higher quotas require Google AI Pro or Ultra, adding a separate paid-plan decision for heavier workloads.
- Enterprise integration supports Antigravity 2.0 and CLI but not the Antigravity IDE.
