Hexis

Git-driven console for AI agent skills, tools, and permissions

Last Updated 9/11/2026

About Hexis

Hexis is the open-source core of the Bevel platform, providing a Git-driven control plane to centrally manage enterprise AI skills, tools, knowledge, context, permissions, and identity. Each skill, tool guide, and permission is stored as a file in your own Git repository, with changes, approvals, and history forming an audit trail, while agent access is resolved per file. Hexis connects to Claude via MCP so agents can discover and load approved instructions and company context available to their role; it can also be self-hosted on your own infrastructure with Docker Compose.
