About Inventory

Inventory is a macOS menu bar app that reads the AI coding conversation history that Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Zed, Kiro, and Antigravity have written locally, takes a read-only snapshot first, and then merges it all into one unified, searchable timeline. All conversations are embedded on-device and ranked in a blend with keyword results; semantically matched results are clearly labeled, so searching “container stuck” can still find a record phrased as “pod stuck terminating”. The index is built entirely on your machine: no account, no server, no sync; apart from the update check, it works fully offline.

Developers who use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex
