manycode

Share a live Claude terminal across networks via a session code

Last Updated 9/9/2026

About manycode

manycode wraps Claude in a real pseudo-terminal, keeps your usual way of using Claude, and shares the live terminal through a session code. LAN discovery only broadcasts the code hash, never the code itself; friends can also join from any network via a random wss:// link. The browser needs no install to open the full terminal with the code prefilled, and phones work too; read-only mode suits demos and pair reviews. Whoever holds a valid code can operate the host shell, so share it only with people you trust; the code expires when the session ends.

Best for

Claude users
Presenters
Pair review participants

Features

Real pseudo-terminal

Wraps Claude in a real pty so you keep using it as before.

Live browser terminal

Open the full live terminal in a browser via the session link; phones work too.

LAN discovery

Broadcasts the code hash over UDP on the same Wi-Fi, never the code itself.

Read-only viewing

Use --read-only to let friends watch the session without operating it.

Pros

  • Keeps your existing Claude workflow
  • Browsers and phones join without installing
  • LAN discovery spreads only the code hash
  • Read-only mode suits demos and observing

Cons

  • A valid code grants direct control of the host's real shell, a trust risk
  • LAN discovery depends on the same Wi-Fi

FAQ

On the same Wi-Fi, discovery works via the code; you can also open a trycloudflare.com link carrying the session code to reach the browser terminal from any network.
After running manycode host --read-only, friends can watch the session without touching the terminal, which suits demos and rubber-ducking.
