AskYourPDF is an AI document workspace for asking questions about files, creating summaries, organizing a document library, and filling PDF forms from another document, a text file, or pasted text. It supports conversations with one document or several, although the multi-document knowledge base requires a paid plan. It is useful when a long report, paper, or reference set is easier to explore through targeted questions than repeated manual searches. Developers can add document chat to their products through an authenticated API. The API accepts PDF, TXT, PPT, PPTX, CSV, EPUB, and RTF files, as well as documents supplied by link. Access is available on the web, through a Chrome extension and Zotero, and on iOS and Android. The free plan covers light use, with limits of one document a day, 100 pages per document, 15 MB per upload, 50 questions a day, and three conversations a day. Paid annual plans raise these limits and add OCR, summaries, multi-document chat, more models, and credits. Some advanced models use credits, which can affect the practical cost beyond the subscription price. The privacy policy says personal information may be processed for account administration, service delivery, support, orders, security, fraud prevention, communications, and legal compliance.
