About Boords

Boords is a video pre-production platform for video agencies and their clients. Teams can create scripts, storyboards, and animatics on the same platform. By sharing a link, clients can leave frame-by-frame comments and approve versions without registering an account; all comments, versions, and sign-off records are archived, making it easy to trace who approved what, when, and on which version. The platform supports real-time collaborative editing and version management. Boords also offers a public API in Beta that lets you programmatically manage projects, generate storyboards from scripts, read and write frame content, and upload images, for building custom integrations and automation workflows. On security, all traffic is transmitted over HTTPS with 256-bit SSL, uploaded files are encrypted at rest on AWS S3, and the platform is primarily hosted in the EU (Ireland); multi-factor authentication is optional and can be enabled for every account.
