Dropstone
A self-hosted AI assistant with long-term memory, spanning the command line, chat, and real-world actions.
About Dropstone
Dropstone is a self-hosted AI assistant with long-term memory that spans the command line, chat, and real-world actions. The models are hosted by the vendor itself, and the entire infrastructure can run inside your own network boundary, so keys, machines, and data never leak out. The assistant can control smart home devices, monitor your inbox around the clock, make phone calls, and find vaguely remembered contacts, with every action requiring approval confirmation. Every tier includes a 1 million token context window, large enough to hold an entire code repository. The vendor offers a CLI that installs with a single command on macOS, Windows, and Linux, requiring at least 256 MB of memory and 80 MB of storage; the original Electron desktop IDE is no longer under active development, and updates are focused on the CLI.
