About FaceCheck.ID
FaceCheck.ID is a face reverse image search engine. After uploading a photo of a person, users can search for that face's public appearances on the internet, including images on social media profiles, blogs, videos, and news websites. The site presents search results ranked by match score (for example, 90-100 is Certain Match and 70-82 is Uncertain Match), and allows purchasing credits to view up to 3x more image results in a single search. The tool's main uses are verifying whether people met online are who they claim to be, and discovering cases where a photo is being misused. The official website also offers a comparison page with other face search engines, noting that this comparison is internal competitive analysis conducted by its paid experts, not an independent review.
