Fide Island
Media, translation, and system shortcuts around the MacBook notch
About Fide Island
Fide Island turns the empty space around the MacBook camera notch into a quiet, fluid quick-actions panel for media playback information, Apple Notes, on-device translation, Calendar, Files, Clipboard, quick calculations, and system feedback. Translation uses the Apple Translation framework on macOS 15 and later, with text processed on-device. The app is local-first: its current source contains no custom analytics or telemetry, and optional permissions are enabled only when needed.
