GenOffice
A free, open-source AI office suite for opening, editing, and saving Office files locally, with your choice of AI services.
About GenOffice
GenOffice is an open-source office suite that lets you open, edit, and save documents on your computer. It supports .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files, and can also edit PDF, HTML, and Markdown. The software itself is free to download and use, with no ads, no watermarks, and no license fees. It has built-in AI editing capabilities: block-level AI editing with snapshots and diff view, as well as document-aware agents, usable via Genspark or your own model API key (BYOK). Built-in providers include Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and more, with support for custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Opening, editing, and saving files, as well as PDF-to-Office conversion, run locally; online AI features only send requests when you use them.
