Humanize Ink
A free English rewriting tool: rewrite English drafts, compare the original with the rewritten version, and edit locally, plus a browser-local word frequency comparison tool.
About Humanize Ink
Humanize Ink is an English text rewriting tool. You paste an English draft, choose one of three tones—Natural, Professional, or Casual—and click Humanize; the tool then rewrites the text and lets you compare the original with the rewritten version, edit it locally, and copy the final version. The site also offers a word frequency comparison tool that counts, entirely in your browser, how often repeated words appear in the two versions and their proportions, so you can check how your wording changed after revision. The rewriting feature is free to use, but the quota is counted per network: up to 3 rewrites per hour and 10 per day, with a site-wide shared limit of 100 per day, and the service may be busy. The official site clearly states that rewritten results are not guaranteed to pass AI detectors—this is a writing tool, not a promise to bypass detection.
Best for
Best use cases
Rewrite an English draft to make the wording more natural or adjust the tone
Compare the original with the rewritten version and edit point by point to settle on the final version
After revising an article, check which words changed in how often they repeat between the two versions
Features
English Rewriting
Paste an English draft, choose the Natural, Professional, or Casual tone, and rewrite the text—up to 1,200 words and 8,000 characters per run.
Comparison and Local Editing
Compare the original with the rewritten version, edit the results locally, and copy the final text after saving your changes; edits are lost if you leave or refresh the page.
Word Frequency Comparison Tool
Counts, locally in your browser, how often repeated words appear in the two versions and their proportions, without sending the text anywhere; each input box holds up to 8,000 characters.
Pros
- The rewriting feature is free to use, with no paid plans or subscriptions
- Text is not sent before rewriting; it is only submitted when you click Humanize
- The word frequency comparison runs entirely locally in the browser, and neither version of the text is sent
- You can view the differences between the rewritten and original drafts and edit locally before copying
Cons
- Rewritten results are not guaranteed to pass any AI detector; the official site clearly states this is a writing tool, not a promise to bypass detection
- The free quota is counted per network rather than per person, so multiple people on the same network share it, and the service may be busy
- Edits on the results page are lost when you leave or refresh the page; save them before copying
- Each rewrite is limited to 1,200 words and 8,000 characters; longer drafts must be split into parts
