Manifest
Open-source LLM routing for agents, with fallbacks, spend limits, cloud pricing, and an option to self-host the stack with Docker.
About Manifest
Manifest is an open-source LLM router for AI agents and applications. It places subscription accounts, usage-based API keys, local models, and custom endpoints behind one OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible endpoint. You can assign a default model or route requests by header, then configure fallbacks for provider failures and rate limits. Per-agent spending caps and the dashboard expose model choice, token use, cost, and timestamps. Manifest Cloud starts with a $0 plan that includes 10,000 routed requests per month, seven days of dashboard retention, unlimited agents, Auto-fix, and budget alerts. Pro costs $19 per month, removes the routed-request limit, and retains dashboard data for 365 days. Enterprise adds seats, team management, SSO or SAML, audit logs, custom retention, an uptime SLA, and compliance options. Docker self-hosting is available when a team needs to run the stack on its own infrastructure. Provider charges remain separate, Free has a monthly request ceiling, and Manifest describes Pro as unsuitable for teams.
Best for
Best use cases
A provider rate limit interrupts an agent run and a fallback model should take over
Several applications need one compatible endpoint for subscriptions, API keys, and local models
A project needs per-agent cost caps and a dashboard record of model usage
Compare before choosing
Choose Manifest when routing flexibility matters more than using one provider directly
Compare cloud hosting with self-hosting when prompt handling and infrastructure control affect approval
Check the Free request cap and Pro team limitation before replacing a team-oriented gateway
Features
Agent provider routing
Use one endpoint and select a default model or a request-header routing tier.
Provider failover
Move requests to fallback models when a provider or selected model fails.
Spend control and review
Set per-agent limits and see model choice, token use, cost, and timestamps.
Pros
- The $0 cloud plan includes 10,000 routed requests per month and unlimited agents.
- OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible endpoints reduce integration changes across supported clients.
- Docker self-hosting gives infrastructure-conscious teams an alternative to the hosted cloud service.
Cons
- The Free plan limits routing to 10,000 requests per month and keeps dashboard data for seven days.
- The $19 Pro plan is explicitly described as unsuitable for teams, pushing team features to Enterprise.
- Provider API or subscription charges remain separate, so the router does not make model usage itself free.
